Directions - By Road

Our postcode cannot be relied upon for car Sat Nav systems so please use the maps below and once you pick up the brown propeller signs follow them to the museum.

There is no vehicular access via Sandy Lane.

We have found that postcode DN4 7NW gets you near to the museum but then please follow the advice above.

 

Leave the M18 at Junction 3.

Follow road signs towards Doncaster straight ahead across two roundabouts.

Follow our brown propeller signs to the museum.   Once you see these, you are on the old RAF Doncaster airfield!

The museum from around 3,000 feet looking approx due North.

Please note our postcode does not work correctly on many car Sat Nav systems so please use the map or GPS co-ordinates instead.

Directions - By Train / Bus

Assuming you have arrived at Doncaster Railway Station.

Cross from the train station to the bus interchange.

At bus platform C4 catch bus number 75.

Disembark near the Warner Vue Cinema and follow the brown propeller signs to Aeroventure.

Discount rates are available for group visits of 10 or more (pre-booking is preferred)

Opening Times

Wednesday to Sunday plus bank holidays

Our opening hours follow the change of British Summer Time and as such varies each year.

Our summer opening hours run from the start of British Summer Time April to October, 10am to 5pm

In winter our opening hours change at the end of British Summer Time November to March, 10am to 4pm

Additional opening times:- The museum is open 7 days a week during summer school holiday's.

We are also open on Tuesdays during other school holidays.

Did you know South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum is a charity? If you're a UK taxpayer and you make a donation that is 10% more than the entry fee the Government will give us an extra 25% on top of your donation.
